Goodmorning Joanne! I tucked Psalm 119:105 in my heart this week: "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." And my post is up:

In addition to my worn set of Embrace the Word cards, I was able to get the last set of the cards pictured on my blog today. Our church does have the plan on the computer and they are willing to share with me! Lord willing, I'll have all the computer info soon and will gladly share. Thank you kindly for stopping by and for asking Joanne.

Well, I got this far and then Rob and I got sick (and are still under the weather), so I am continuing with last week's passage:
1"Do not fret because of evil me or be envious of those who do wrong".....I already knew verse 4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart", so I've got to work on verses 2-3 in the middle this week.
I hope everyone has a great week...and don't get sick like we did!
Blessings,
Jen

Mine is up!
I just started reading your book. I have it on interlibrary loan for two weeks...sort of annoying that I have to read it quickly. HA!
Happy Monday!

This is one of the best things I have ever done--and has brought Life to my weary soul.
Thank you, friend!
You encourage me so!
Love,
Holly

Joanne,
I just got mine up. I only got half of Psalm 1 memorized though. It was a hectic week. I posted a smidge about it, but we just closed on a new house and are still trying to unpack and everything.
I love your idea about memorizing the Christmas story. After I get Psalm 1 finished up I'm going to move on to it. I have a general memorization of it from childhood, so I'm hoping it will go quickly. But it's in KJV, not NIV, so I'll have to switch gears and go back to that temporarily. :)
Thanks for your continued encouragement!

Joanne: This is what me and my accountability partner, Patsy, have been working on for a little over a week:
Proverbs 3:3-8
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and shun evil
8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones!
YAY - Georgia Jan
I love this!!!
Love you!

I'm finally caught up, since I was providentially hindered and was severely behind from last week. But, caught up, nonetheless!!
