Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Joanne and I’ve been blogging for many years under the name The Simple Wife (you can see all of my old posts under the archives or by clicking on any of the categories that interest you). I love receiving comments from you and try to respond to each one personally. I hope you’ll visit often!
You are so crafty! Very, very cute! Hope you had a great thanksgiving...you are one of the many, many things for which I am thankful. There is something especially tender and miraculous about friends who REALLY know you...from wayyy back! So THANK YOU for always GIVING so much to our friendship!!!! My heart is full of thanks and giving for the amazing and incredible woman of god you are today! Love ya!
Hmmm...Doesn't it look like Pumpkin on the sleigh? Thanks for letting him wash his hands in your tea (mortified mommy!) and being so gracious. Thank you also for mailing back my phone--sorry to be a pain! I LOVE the door hanger.
I just took a second look. Is that a girl on the sleigh? Can't tell if it's the hat or a ponytail. Oh well, it's absolutely adorable.
Please add my name to the drawing. That little girls is so cute. You have been really busy -- I love the shop. I am adding the button to my blog tonight.

I need in, girl! And woohoo to your new SHOP! That is sooooooo exciting! I'm supposed to be making handmade gifts for my sisters and sis-in-law for Christmas. They're making blankets, scarves, and jewelry. I got nothin'. Is it cheating if I come shopping at The Simple Wife? (i think not!)
You are so very clever! It must be a special gift from the LORD. I love your handiwork, friend.
Let's get together soon...Yeah, yeah, yeah :)
Much Love,
Holly
Thank you, Joanne! This doorhanger is lovely! And thank you for continuing to share your life and your walk with the Lord through this blog. Your post about roasting hotdogs over the fire made me want to do that, too, the next time we have a fire in the fireplace. Thank you!
I read your book over the summer and it has inspired me and helped me SO MUCH! Now I am enjoying your blog...daily! My husband keeps asking, "Who is this Simple Wife?" Funny! I love the door hanger! Thanks for your insight.
I heard you on MBI Midday Connection in either Jan or Feb and then got your book. Making small changes has changed (in a postitive way) the life I want for my family. They will remember the trip to Disneyworld, but they will be better people because I took the time to stand on the front doorstep in my robe and wave to them until their dad's car pulled around the corner! I used your tutorial to make a wonderful bun for my daughter's first Communion and I am embracing my limited craftiness following your tutorials! So please count me in on the drawing! I love the website and the "simple living" philosophy you've introduced to me! Blessings, Laura
I said I was going to do this today and I am! I will be ordering a few zippy purses tomorrow. I am half way through Living Simply and am finding I am making some small chages in my life already!
That is adorable, please count me in.
