What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Israel, 24 A.D. BTW, the Gregorian calendar is off by 6 years, I adjusted for it.

Love Love the photos and that you all got to take this trip. Looking forward to the other pics!

Oh I LOVE the look of that! Looks like someplace I would LOVE to live. I would go back to before TV, when families lived and worked together. When it was harder and simpler all at the same time.
How far of a drive did you have? Like how many hours is it? I would have to map it out from here - seems like it would take US like 5 days just to get there!

I just love the old barn in your third photo. Beautiful with the mountains behind it. Sounds like you had a great trip. :-)

I just finished making a rag weaving for the first time and now want to tackle a rag rug, let's have a snowy day rag rug making playdate this winter!

Beautiful pictures. I've always thought that the 1950'd would be fun. I think that that I a thing for poodle skirts. But...Little House on the Prairie does have an appeal too.
