What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Seriously---take it OFF the list. Really. They'll be fine and you'll feel better. There are always more lessons than days.

On my list today is one thing. Enjoy a night away with my husband. Just one night and we'll be back for dinner tomorrow, but I'm so looking forward to it!

Love u!

Clean out someone else's files because my boss told me to.
Clean out some of my files because I need to.
Pick up The Boy from camp.
Pick up a rotisserie chix from the grocery store (woohoo, they were on sale).
Eat early because I'm so hungry.
Clean dishes by hand because the dishwasher isn't working.
Clean in house tonight so that we don't have to clean this weekend.
Exercise inside because the air quality is too bad outside.
And if I can keep my eyes propped open, I'll read some.
Sleep.

Provide food for children & 3 nephews (cousins). Go to store with 7 children. Buy a birthday present. Cart the two girls to a birthday party. Make homemade pizzas with 5 boys. Pick-up girls from party. Collapse into bed. (Drove for 12 hours yesterday and I am already exhausted....)
