What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Lisa notes...

We're all in this together, Joanne. Thank YOU for allowing us a place to gather to encourage each other in this important grace of memorization. It doesn't come easily to me, but doing things like this does help me to stay a little more on track with it.

Psalm 100 is a great choice. I need to add it to my list as well for down the road.

Right now, I'm struggling through Psalm 103. I had another bad week learning the new verses, so I'm not adding any newer ones for this coming week. Time for review.

Here's my post:

Hi Joanne, Good to meet you here. I found your blog here and read that you are a home school mom. I just started homeschooling my two boys this year after many years in public schools. We are having the time of our lives right now. It is so wonderful to be ale to spend so much time with my kids and literally watch them grow right before my eyes. They have learned more then I ever thought that they would or could. It is so amazing. I attend church with you as our husbands know each other. Would love to meet you sometime. I also have a personal blog. I don't post and write a whole lot however you can read more about me and my family there if you so desire.
