The man who invented air conditioning. And all of his descendants after him forever and ever. Because we still need it. It's getting cooler here in Phoenix, but the forecast for this week is 93, 91, 93, 90, 92, and--hold your horses!--88.
I MISS AUTUMN!
The person (yes, I assumed whoever invented air conditioning was a man, but for this, it just may have been a woman) who invented hairspray. I used about a gallon of it this morning, but as a result my bangs are behaving. I even had to take a picture and post it on Facebook. Yes, I have a little deer-in-the-headlights thing going on, but it's the bangs that are important, not my startled look.
We're in the midst of school--the girls are doing a creative writing assignment--so I thought I'd pop in to say hello. And I need to get my Spiritual Mothering answers up for chapter 2 and visit all of you Memory Monday gals. (I do try to visit everyone each week--even though I don't always leave a comment!)
But as my friend Rachel said in her post, "So many things, so little time to blog it out." Can't tell you how often I wish I had a magic blog want to turn something into an instant blog post. I guess that's what Twitter is for. So if you're desperate to know what I had for lunch, you can always follow me on Twitter.
(Not that I think my life is so super exciting or that I think you should. Just an option to throw out there if you like to peek in other people's windows like I do. Cause that's kinda what Twitter is like. For example, Kirk Franklin's daughter is having growing pains today. And Travis Cottrell had Mediterranean food for lunch.)
And to circle back around to the thought of God blessing people, I pray that God blesses YOU today. That he pours some encouragement upon you today, that he blesses you the way you bless me.
I really do pray for so many of you. When you comment, I speak your name to God and ask him to meet your needs. And when you ask me to pray about something, it's my honor to do so.
Okay, the girls are ready to present their writing assignment. Gotta run!
P.S. Tons of links in this post. Don't ever feel like you have to go look at them; I put them up in case you want more information and don't want the hassle of doing a Google search yourself!
