What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

I love that it's pink!

Great idea!!!! I'll have to keep that in mind because here in CA it does get quite hot and a little mist now and then would work wonders. To be more frugal, I have a spay bottle that my toner comes in and it is the right size. I'll just recycle it.Maybe cover it with some fun contact paper or make a cloth cover. Thanks Joanne!

Drive fast with all the windows rolled down was my idea when the AC died in the car. The other thing is to freeze a bottle of water. I'm tight with a dollar, so I get bottles that can be washed and reused. Then, I would hold the frozen bottle against my skin. As the water would thaw, then you could drink it.

The idea's simple and nice (: Thanks!

Love it! It's just like the misters at Disneyland when you are standing in line. I would love to repost this on my blog. Would you mind?

Oooh! We used to make these in college for use during football games! (I was in the band... those uniforms were so dreadfully hot)

(I got here from my friend Stephanie's blog, btw) :)

I love, love, love air conditioning too! I can’t imagine living a day without an AC in our home! We are so thankful that we have one in our home – without it, I don’t know how many sleepless nights are we going to have.

Ooh, I think I’m gonna try that brumisatuer! Well, I’ve never used an AC mister, but I’ve heard a lot of great and refreshing facts about this from my friends. While reading your post, I became even more fascinated and convinced. ;]

Of course, we can’t carry our ACs wherever we go, but having or using this “misters”, or brumisateurs, will help keep you fresh and cool with just one spray! At first, I was hesitant to try one but after I tried it, I can’t stop myself from using it. @Launce: You really should try it!
