Another great thing to make with all those strawberries...Here's the recipe from Martha Stewart's Everyday Food.
It's delicious on homemade bread (something I've been doing again) or straight from a big spoon!

Just curious... have you ever done peaches? I have a bunch that I'm fearing won't get eaten quick enough and I was considering using them for jam.

What a delicious-looking picture! I make Strawberry Freezer Jam every year - enough for all of us for all year - including my married daughters and their husbands. One of them would eat a whole cup of jam for breakfast if my daughter hadn't told him that we only have a limited quantity of this great stuff! I made about 48 pints this last, but we still have some left from last year. Once you've tasted homemade jam, you won't go back to the storebought stuff!

Looks great - though again with me and the seeds - I would have to learn how to make "strawberry JELLY" - not a fan of the jam. Textures...
