The girls and I headed out this morning on a fabric adventure, in search of a buckle for the dress I was making for Audrey. (Finished it this afternoon!) We heard about SAS Fabrics (no website, so no link) from the gal at Jo-Ann's and then from some friends on Facebook here in Phoenix who both said, "You have to go!"
So we went.
I guess there are a couple of them here in Phoenix; we went to the one in Tempe.
And just look at what we saw...
(I LOVE RIC-RAC! It makes me feel a little bit giddy to see all this ric-rac.)
Not to mention lots and lots and lots of fabric and buttons and embroidery floss and a whole lot of other stuff. Including the buckle we needed.
Anyone in Phoenix know which location is the very best?
oh I am sooooo jealous!

I see that several bloggers have always said they take their out of town friends to the Tempe SAS. They have said it's the best. I have not gone to the others... just the Tempe SAS.
So glad you liked it Joanne. I went their often when my kids were in the musicals during their high school years... when I was sewing costumes. It's a sewers paradise for Halloween costume making!

Wow, your location looks a little more organized than the one by my house. We don't have the ric-rac on rods like that! It's all lined on shelves!

Ohhhh, all that RIBBON and ric-rac! In my case, that stuff goes on cards, not clothes, but it's still very cool seeing it all together like that!

Joanne, when (see? I used "when" instead of "if"! There's still hope!) you come to Singapore one day, I'll bring you to an awesome place near my house where you can find a large variety of fabric and another place where you can find lots and lots of crafting items! I think you'll like it ;)
