We're getting packed up today (and cleaning house and washing sheets and mopping floors and doing laundry and all that good stuff) to head to Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow.
(Assuming, of course, that Audrey is done throwing up. Poor baby. Too much tempura last night. Or at least, that's what we're hoping it is. She seems to be feeling better now that it's out of her tummy. Prayers would be greatly appreciated!)
We head to Osage Beach every summer for a week with my family to hang out, float on the lake, play skeeball on Bagnell Dam, hit the batting cages, eat shave ice, play tennis, float in the pool, eat frozen custard, read books, shop at Ozarkland, watch movies, go to the WalMart, water ski, and generally have a ball.
This year it's just going to be the four of us and my parents--it's a little far of a drive from NY for Kristen and her family.
I will be taking my computer--and my camera--and keep you updated. And if you live along I-70 between here and there, I'll wave as we drive past!
