What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

This item was on our wedding registry. Now the issue is stacking the correct sizes together and making sure the lids are in their "spot" otherwise it doesn't spin so nicely.

Same exact problem at our house...same exact gender with the same problem. Same solution. Go figure.

angela

Great solution... I may need to check that out! I'm enjoying your book... lots to think about and try!

It's nice to know our family isn't the only one with the container/lid/stacking issue. The other day I thought, "Now, why isn't this addressed in the book of Proverbs?"

I adore this organizer! I was totally skeptical at first and not usually one to jump on the "as seen on TV" bandwagon but after two years I can definitely say it was a good buy! Love it!!

heh...heh...heh...

This makes me like you even more, Joanne. You're living IN reality and yet are not of reality.

My friend's hubby always says that she likes to wrap up her left overs and refrigerate them before throwing them away. :)

Lura

I have one of those too and they are wonderful!

Love this spinner. I'm on my second one. Some of my pieces have "walked off" since I have 3 boys, and they sometimes think the plastic containers are to feed the cat with. GREAT way to simplify my life, which has been my goal this year after reading your wonderful book!

Brynn

Priceless.

One of the things I love about you is that you are so REAL. Thanks for that!

Like Emma, when Victoria Leigh was litttle, she would write down 800 numbers and products that "I just had to have!" I never purchased any of the products; but I saved all the sweet little notes she wrote in her memory box.
