What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

i've heard about these books from him. i read his adult ones where he introduces the half bird/half kids. they were really good. my 9 year old is on a much higher reading level than his actual grade and i've thought of getting them for him. i'm seeing a trip to the bookstore in the future. :)

Sounds like a fun series. I'd rather read YOUR new book, though ;-) Can't wait to get my review copy!

Robynn's Ravings

Interesting....I'll have to check it out one of these days. I'm usually reading five books at once.

THanks for the tip. Always looking for something for my 10 and 12 y.o.s to read.

I read an interview with him and his son (the inspiration for this series.) It was one of the catalysts that helped his son develop a love of books. Can you imagine being a prolific author and having a child who didn't like to read...at all? lol! You are the first I know of who have read them though so I can't wait to pass the word on now to my friends.
