What a whirlwind of a day! I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all the work to be done, but am excited and ready to get at it. Which is good, because my first test is TOMORROW!
I've already done most of the reading (textbooks, articles, and Genesis 1-25) and have just another couple of assignments for tomorrow that won't be covered on the test. And I need to find some index cards to help me study.
But I just had to pop in really quick to say thank you for all your prayers and comments--here, in my email, on Facebook--ya'll floor me. Literally. I'm falling on the floor, humbled and thankful for your prayers. You minister to me and bless me like you wouldn't believe. I love you!
I got home to a gazillion email and realize that for the next three weeks of this intensive class, I'm just not going to be able to respond like I'd like to. So if you don't hear from me or get a response to your comments, that's why.
But keep 'em coming! I read every single one and they mean so much to me.
Please, keep on praying. For me to manage my time well so that my girls and my husband get the attention they need from me, for me to be able to stay up later and night and to think clearly past 7:30 p.m., to get enough rest, for continued health, for God to make me smart enough to soak in all that I'm learning.
Thank you for being part of my life!
Test tomorrow? Ugh! The joys of intensive classes. Glad to see the update. Will continue in prayer.

You go girl! I am so in awe of you... I have zero motivation to return to school. I love to read and learn - I just don't like the "formalty" that would be required of me. You know, like... studying, homework, tests, papers, etc.! Ha!
We'll miss your comments, for sure, but just keep on studying and give us a line or two with the highlights when you can fit us into your new busy schedule!
Blessings!

All the best with the studying! Guess what? We're in the same boat! Well, sort of. What's it like to be back in school after a rather long break? Mine starts next Monday (12th of Jan)!

Lord, I pray for Joanne's evenings to be restful but productive. I pray that she knows how much you want her to be doing this, and what a blessing it is to be in your word. These tests are a measure of knowledge but certainly cannot measure her love and passion for you. Lord, when she is weak, tired and frustrated lift her up and carry her. She is one of your angels Lord and lives only for you. In your precious name we pray, Amen.

Happy third day of school! Hope it goes well, and I hope your test went well. I haven't gotten the care package in the mail yet....maybe it will be a "happy second week of school" package.
