What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Joanne,

I think this is a wonderful idea. We all need to hold each other accountable. My time is the thing I need to focus on the most along with wasteful spending. Thanks for the post!

Okay...so I'm on a January Target fast, and now all coffee houses, too. Giving up Starbucks is too easy--we have a latte stand on every corner. On Thursday mornings, we usually stop for a latte/hot cocoa as a treat, but I think I can swing hot cocoa in a thermos for at least a month of Thursdays.

I love the button and have already got it in my sidebar. We did great this year at being more frugal with our money, but now we must move on to other things we waste too much of...mainly our time. Thanks for the gentle reminders and for thinking of this!

I love it!
