Happy birthday, Kristen!
Today is my little sister's birthday--Happy birthday, birthday girl!
I've mentioned before that she just moved to New York three weeks ago. She and her husband are ice skating in Central Park to celebrate tonight and stopping by Rockerfeller Plaza to see the tree lighting. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Cold, but fun!
In my family, we call and sing on your birthday--usually waaaay before the crack of dawn. But I waited to call until this afternoon and then left a birthday singing message since she didn't pick up. I'll have to see if she's home tomorrow and skype (video calling on the computer) so I can sing "in person."
Anyway, happy birthday, Kristen. I love you!

We have that same tradition about calling really early in the morning. It's fun!

Our family has the same silly tradition: ) My grandfather(who passed away 5 years ago) was the best at this and he used to call at the butt crack of dawn(his words) and sing so off key and so loud and long it took forever to get him off the phone! It used to be really embarrassing, especially in college, but now I really miss it. Happy Birthday to your sister!
