What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Maybe it means...no knitting in class? That is said totally tongue in cheek! :o) You are a good woman for ironing long enough to watch a movie!

The Roost

LOL! I love that movie and never get tired of watching it!

Melissa @ Breath of Life

I have SO got to watch that movie again!

Priti

Wow..that happens to me all the time. I usually dream of forgetting to do something that I need at work next day. And that reminds me I need to get to the bottom drawer of my chest to take out all the clothes that I have been hiding so that I dont need to iron them.

Have a great Day!!

Erin W

I think it just means your nervous about going back to school...pre - school nervous jitters. I used to get similar dreams before college semesters started too. Hang in there!

tammy

ummm....what were you knitting?

Kimberly

I watched it on Sunday!

Heather

It means you shouldn't be knitting in class! I had a lot of women ask me at the shop if I thought it was alright if they knit in church. I always told them NO. But then they would go on to say, "But what if I sit in the back row?"

Dawn W

Umm... I think it means leave your knitting needles at home.

Seriously, I think it was probably just two things you've got on your brain and your dream just "stirred" them together.

Blessings!

PS - I didn't comment, but loved your post from yesterday.

Dawn W

Oops... that wasn't yesterday's post... it was earlier today!

Anyway, still loved it!

Nice to stop by and meet another writer from Colorado..

My daughters roll their eyes and then go glassy, but I've always loved You've Got Mail. I did live in that neighborhood for a while, but that's not (only, just) it. Do you also watch it every fall, for seasonal atmospheric inspiration? That's it for me, too. That one, and Practical Magic. Girly movies, yes...so sue me. I also like the Bourne movies so there.

Tara

I thought I was the only person who watches that movie every fall. Something about it screems fall to me. And I love all the books, books, books! I just watched it a a week or so ago, even though fall is a ways away for us as far as the weather goes. I love it!

Meredith

You really iron? I haven't ironed in *years*. But I used to love to watch movies while ironing John's shirts, and You've Got Mail is definitely one of my faves.
