What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Serious goose bumps for you Joanne!

I am so excited for you...does it feel real now?!
Remember I told you I think that it took my friend 7 years and she was not alone in that number many way above it...take your time...soak it in...savor the journey!

And Trapper Keepers...rock!

i bet the macbook would fit inside the trapper keeper to take both! lol

Dawn W

Yea, for you! Bet it makes you want to go sharpen some pencils, doesn't it?!

I'm excited 'cause I just know you're going to share some neat stuff with us. And we won't even have to worry about tuition or financial aid! ha!

Hehe! I was at Target today and almost bought a Trapper Keeper too (I am in school too getting my teaching credentials). When I scanned it and saw it was $7.99 I decided I didn't need anything quite so cool...

Congrats on going back to school, that is awesome!

Holly B.

Ah, trapper keeper memories! So excited for the adventure that awaits you, Joanne!

Yay Joanne! If you're going to start school in January, then we'd be schooling together! Okay that was rather random. Anyway, have a great time at school!

I am watching Mamma Mia! The songs are awesome!

Mamma Mia! Here I go again!

I'm so excited for you! This is such a cool new chapter.

Melissa @ Breath of Life

Congrats to you! I've always wanted to go back to school. Now is not the right time in my life, though. But I hope to do it one day.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! And I can not wait for you to start sharing!

Of course your family comes first! lol...never doubted it. And what is wrong with "'cuz it's fun?"!?

Love you, friend!

Holly @ Crownlaiddown

Oooo and we could swap stickers!!

I am SO proud of you--covering your journey in prayer, friend.

Lori Anne

That is wonderful! I'm sure God will use you & your gifts beyond measure!

ps. I totally bought my kids a Trapper Keeper - they thought I'd lost my marbles because I was so excited about it. :)

Thank you for your darling e-mail, friend. I'm so tired but feeling HEAPS better.

And you KNOW I am BEYOND excited about this new adventure of yours. Oh, the KNOWLEDGE you'll soak up! And it's knowledge that actually means something! Knowledge that will bring you closer and closer to the heart of our Creator and Savior.

Woooooooohooooooooo!!!! Love you!

Oh I am SO excited for you! I have nerd envy. :) I can't wait to hear all about your adventures when you start.

Lisa R-P

Oh I am so excited for you -and- for all of us who will learn through you as you go back to school. As for the Trapper Keeper -- I had a solid green one in the second grade and I remember it fondly! Too cool -- I wonder if I need one now?!?!

I also love the picture of your charm bracelet. I have 2 -- one is a Pandora and one is like yours -- but I do not have as many charms.

Lisa @ The PW

You've just inspired me to complete my NT Survey class I currently have on hold because it was too much to handle with the book writing.

And fun is right! I LOVE biblical information. It's pretty pitiful that I know more about Jewish history than I do American, huh :)) lol

How exciting Joanne to be going back to school. Regardless of what you do with your Masters it will be a wonderful and exciting journey. Best of luck!!

You are going to be just fabulous on that campus! How fin it is to see your name on the marquee! My school actually did that too when I had my first meeting! (I didn't think to take a picture though!) Anyway, four classes isn't too bad right now. A ton of reading and writing...but I feel ao alive in it all!

I'm so excited for you, Joanne! I wonder if you'll ever be in class with my hubby? (Probably not, but ya never know!)
