I'm loving this pattern. A lot.
It's one Audrey picked out because she loves the capris. We haven't gotten 'round to them yet, but I made a skirt--well, almost two--today.
It takes less than 30 minutes--really. And a half a yard of fabric. I have lots of half a yard of fabrics in my stash.
Take a peek:
This fabric was once a bedspread from Urban Outfitters--on clearance for maybe $5. It's also a dress hanging in my closet!

So cute! Now I'm inspired to tackle a sewing project for baby girl. I've been putting it off as I still get nervous reading patterns, etc. Love that fabric :)

You are a clever girl! When I was growing up I didn't know what it was to have store bought clothing. My Mom made everything! I am convinced the sewing gene skips a generation. I am so clumsy at it. I love to do other handcrafts, but sewing just eludes me. So I am a great admirer of sewers!
Have a happy 4th!

This is darling! It's making me want to go look at patterns to make myself some summer skirts! LOVE the fabric!

Wow! I have tried to sew a few things but I think I'd better stick to scrapbooking. Sewing is totally not my forte. YOU ARE MY HERO! The skirt is very cute but I am in love with that dress!
I'm size 7/8 if you feel like whipping one up!

Great idea re-using a bedspread. Is that bias tape at the bottom of the skirt?? Happy Fourth!
