What is living simply?

  • Living simply is not so much about the particulars of our lives as much as it is about the principles that govern them. Knowing what God has called you to do, and then doing it--that's living simply.

Wow, that one is going to be hard!

And, yet, I totally see your point. How many times has the garlic bread burned, the pot boiled over, or the laundry been forgotten, because I am trying to do too many things at once!

Thanks for the *great* reminder!

I'm with Beth...this is going to be tough. But I can see where it would work. When I focus on getting one thing completely done, I feel so much better than when I have several unfinished projects going at once.

We'll see how it goes!

I came across your site via The Queen Bee and you were an instant favourite. I love your ABC's of Living Simply! I hope you don't mind if I add you to my blogroll.

I agree Melissa and Beth. I need to work on this one too. Tonight I found half my lunch sitting in the dining room. I knew I was hungry for some reason! :) I really need to focus on one thing - anything - and finish it!

I've been reminding myself of this several times a day since reading it. I loved your book and want to reread it soon, but these little snippets are a great way to remind me until then. How's the new book coming?
PS- I got my phone back. THANK YOU! Sorry for being a pain.
