W, part 2

W is also for my morning walk. I know I've written about it before, but wanted to share some of the things I saw this morning as Daisy and I walked along. How I wish you could've come along with me and enjoyed the beautiful, crisp air of an autumn morning in Colorado.

As I sang along with Go Fish to "Jesus Loves Me" I was just overwhelmed. So often I look up at the mountains or the sky and see the big work of God. But the incredible thing is that in addition to doing BIG work in the world, God also works in the tiny details. He's in the big picture of sweeping landscapes, but also in the small details of rocks and changing leaves.

The truth of it is this: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. But it's also true that Jesus loves me, as small as I am in the grand scheme of things. This I know, for the Bible tells me so.
