Frist I have to say like I feel like I know you. I am not sure how I found your blog but once I started reading it I could not stop. Maybe its because you lived close to San Diego and I did also. I was born and raised in Southern CA, but I have lived in Philadelphia for 5 years and now I live in a small town in the UP of MI. Your daughters remind me of my nieces who still live in CA and travel back and forth between San Dimas and San Diego. I love you house (both of them) they both had such a homey, cozy and happy look. Keep up the good work and stay blessed in Gods love. Debra

I would love a book if I am in the top 3! I actually have it on my to-read list, so one way or another I will be reading it as soon as reading time becames more available! Living simply is something I aspire to do, but find hard to do for some reason. Thanks for the blog Joanne - always fun to read!

I just finished your book last week and loved it! I was browsing in the Christian book store before Christmas and the title just "jumped out" at me! I am always stiving to live a more God focused simple life and your book gave me great inspiration and some great ideas! I am far from getting it right but keep trying!!! I choose to be a stay at home mom to my three children (2 boys, 1 girl) ages 8,6 and 4. Thank you for sharing your life with others and for sharing your love for God! I would love to give a copy of your book to a friend if I am one of the top 3. God bless you and your family!

Joanne,
I have read your book and completely loved it. As I have mentioned, the title just really stuck out to me. My goal is to live a life of simplicity. The book was not only encouraging, but it offered practical advice. I hope to read more books written by you!
