My room is being overrun by suitcases and piles of clothes. Clothes for the trip Toben and I are taking tomorrow, clothes for our Christmas trip, clothes for the girls to try on so I know if they still fit and can be packed. The piles of clothes are being kept company by piles of shoes. And the piles of shoes are being kept company by the lists of things still to go in each bag.
We're going on a cruise to Mexico over the holidays. My dad is taking all of us--Mom and Dad; Wade, Kristen, and Ava; and Toben, the girls, and me--as our Christmas gift. It's meant rushing around to have everything done for Christmas waaaaaaay ahead of time, but I'm glad it's all nearly done and I have lounging by the pool in the sunshine to look forward to. Not to mention a few days in San Diego with friends before we leave.
I'm off to an early bedtime since I've got to be up and ready to go when we take the girls to school in the morning. Luckily tomorrow is an all-travel day, so I don't have to worry about looking good until Friday morning. I've picked out the outfit I'm pretty sure I'll wear for the program, but have added another just in case. Plus what I'm wearing tomorrow. And probably one more thrown in last minute tomorrow morning if there's room.
I see why people who are on television all the time have someone to handle wardrobe. It's a little intimidating.
